This temple is located 3 km from Namasivayapuram and about 18 km from Thiruvarur towards Thiruthuraipoondi.This temple is also more than 1000 years old and is built by the Cholas.

This temple has 2 siva lingams. The Moolavar inside the temple is Padaleeswarar with Mangalambigai as his consort. In the southwest outside is Lord Umamaheshwarar and Umamaheshwari without any shelter.

Renovation and Thirupani work is being planned with the help of donors and the temple was kept locked for a long time and with the help of the locals and EO only 3 years back the lock was broken and one time pooja for the Lord came into vogue.
Mr S.Parthasarathi , who takes care of Namasivayapuram ,is the caretaker of this temple along with his father and uncle Mr Rajendran. He has got about 20 sivan adiyars who also join him on Pradosham days to celebrate it with great fervour.
It has been agreed to pay a monthly sum of Rs 500 to enable maintain daily pooja in this temple from May 2015.
